Actress April Scott was born January 29th, 1979 in the town of Poplar Bluff in Missouri. She gets her looks from a mix of French, Irish, Spanish and Native American roots. Throughout high school, April Scott competed in beauty pagents. She won over 85 different pageants, about half of all the pagents she competed in. Instead of turning to modeling, April Scott decided to study theatre. She went to the College of the Ozarks in Branson, Missouri after graduating high school in 1997. Scott was a model student and became her class's valedictorian with her 4.083 GPA .
From 2003, April Scott had several appearances on TV series like "CSI: Miami", "The Shield", "Entourage", "In the Mix" and several more. In 2006, April Scott landed her first major role that would bring her celebrity status. She was cast as Daisy Duke in "The Dukes of Hazzard: The Beginning", which was released on TV in 2007. April Scott continued to get recognition for her classic good looks and was named by Maxim magazine the 2006 Girl to Watch. She appeared on the covers of many different magazines such as for People, Maxim Magazine UK, Breed, Sense, Fitness RX and more. April Scott is the face of the Merle Norman Cosmetics line and can be seen in all of their ads and commercials. In addition to this, Scott models for Dreamgirl Lingerie. She is signed to the Next Models Management agency in Los Angeles.
Though April Scott's acting career has been slower to grow than her modeling career, she still appears in films and on TV. In 2008, Scott wrote and released her autobiography which is called Behind the Briefcase and talks about her experience as a model on the game show Deal or No Deal.
